Heritage Park Playground Equipment
| In 2006 the Brillion Jacyees decided to make it one of their main missions to improve the play structures at Heritage Park. When all the planning was done the club decided to install 3 main structures in the park. All three of these structures totaled over $80,000. | |
| Phase 1, which is the largest and most expensive of the three structures, was designed for children ages 5 -12. The cost of this phase rang in at $50,000. The Jaycees began their fundraising campaign in the fall of 2006. They used their funds from several previous events including a rummage sale and the Jaycees Poker run to fund the project. The club also decided to sell paver bricks that would be placed in the park to help raise funds (click on the picture to view a detailed copy of the plans). | |
| Phase 2 of the project is a structure designed for 2 - 5 year old. The structure was also created in a way that it is handicapped accessible (click on the picture to view a detailed copy of the plans). | |
| Phase 3 is play structure designed with exercise in mind. The equipment is a circuit play structure and is created to encourage activity (click on the picture to view a detailed copy of the plans). | |
In April of 2007 the Brillion Jaycees began installing phase one of the project. To save some money the club decided to install the structure as a “community build” installation, instead of hiring an outside firm to assemble the equipment. With over 30 community volunteers and several weekends of work, today phase one is open and heavily used. To see all the pictures of the project, please see the JC Picture Album.

| As stated above the Brillion Jacyees sold engraved pavers to the community to help pay for the projects. On June 16th, 2007 the club installed the pavers to dress up a new sidewalk that led from the street to the park shelter. To purchase your engraved paver, please click here to download the form. | ||
